This is our slowest paced class. This class is appropriate for new students as well as more advanced students who want gentler movement. It includes basic seated and standing postures with simple transitions up and down off the floor. Technique and hands-on adjustment are offered. Variations on postures accommodate those with limitations or recovering from injuries. This class is a great way get to know your body. It will awaken areas that feel weak or restricted and unwind chronic tension. Gentle attention on breathing allows you to access a sense of peace and calm.

  • Yoga Basics

This is our second level class. This class is appropriate for beginning to advanced students who want to focus more on movement, technique and alignment. A wide yet balanced selection of postures allows you to explore new movements and provides the option to challenge your limits. Coordinating movement with breath strengthens the body and releases areas that feel tight or bound. The themes and alignment presented allow you to leave each class with a new awareness that you can use on and off the mat.

  • Vinyasa Yoga

This is our most advanced class. This class is appropriate for physically fit beginners as well as intermediate to advanced students. Vinyasa includes faster-paced flowing movement and creative sequencing. Principles of alignment build strength and develop an understanding of technique. Attention to the breath and hands-on adjustments help guide you deeper into challenging postures while encouraging a gentle release.

  • Morning Flow

The level of this class is between yoga basics and vinyasa yoga. It is appropriate for physically fit beginners as well as intermediate to advanced students. Beginning with gentle movements to warm up and flowing through a balanced range of poses, Morning Flow invigorates the body and quiets the mind. An excellent way to start your day!

  • Ashtanga Yoga

This vinyasa-style practice improves strength and flexibility and is appropriate for strong beginners to advanced students. The class takes you through the led primary series of hatha yoga as sequenced by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The main direction of the class will be on the primary series, offering modifications when necessary. The asanas (postures) are linked using the breath, bandhas (energy gates) and dristi (focal points) to move through a flow, which builds natural heat in the body and quiets the mind.

  • Iyengar Yoga - All Levels

All levels. Iyengar Yoga is characterized by great attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment. Standing poses are emphasized in  order to build strong legs, increase general vitality and improve circulation, coordination and balance. In time, other postures are added; forward bends, back bends, twists, inversions and restorative poses. An Iyengar Yoga class is highly verbal and precise, with misalignments and errors actively corrected. The practice of Iyengar yoga leads a serious student to explore the interaction of mind and body. Students experience meditation in action, a state of being focused and absorbed in the moment. This, in turn, moves the mind into progressively subtler aspects of one's self which begins with the body, but ends with the very Self within.

  • Kid/Family Yoga

This class is for boys and girls, K-6. Parents/guardians may drop off their child or attend the class for a fee of $10 per person. Kid yoga offers a delightful setting to explore yoga while cultivating awareness, strength and flexibility. This class also helps build focus, self-discipline, and emotional balance. Yoga is calming to the nervous system and promotes feelings of peacefulness and joy for both the young and young at heart.
